When a storage unit goes unpaid, its contents get auctioned off — usually sight unseen, sold to whoever bids highest on a two-minute look through the door. That’s where we come in.

How it works

We bid on abandoned storage lots around the Phoenix area. Back at the shop, everything gets sorted: trash is recycled or disposed of, donations go to local charities, and anything with real value gets cleaned, tested, and photographed.

What’s left goes up here — one listing per item, one item per listing. Because every piece is a single find, once it sells it’s gone for good. No restocks, no “more on the way.”

How we grade condition

Every listing carries a condition grade and a short note spelling out exactly what to expect. We would rather lose a sale than surprise you.

Excellent Barely used. No meaningful flaws. Would pass as new to most people.
Very Good Light wear consistent with careful use. Fully functional. Minor cosmetic marks only.
Good Clearly used and shows it. Works as intended. Specific flaws listed and photographed.
Fair Heavy wear or a notable defect. Priced accordingly. Buy with eyes open.
Varies A lot or bundle where individual pieces differ. Condition described per the photos.

Shipping & local pickup

  • Flat-rate shipping is shown on every listing and charged once at checkout for the whole order.
  • Orders are packed and shipped within two business days, tracked.
  • Large or heavy items are marked local pickup only — arrange a time and collect them from us in Mesa, AZ.

Returns

These are one-of-a-kind secondhand goods, so all sales are final — with one exception. If an item arrives materially different from its description or photos, email us within 3 days of delivery and we’ll make it right with a refund or partial refund. We photograph and note flaws carefully so this rarely comes up.

Payments

Checkout runs entirely through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on or seen by Riffly. You’ll get an emailed receipt the moment payment clears.
