What is it?
The Riffly API allows you to add video recording capabilities to your web site or web application. It relies on Javascript and Flash. You give the Riffly Flash recorder application to a user, they record, then a Javascript callback function is called with the unique ID (ex: B47686169D7111DC9B0D44CF0D09CCE3) and type (ex: audio or video). You store the ID and type in your database then use it later to display the recording for playback with the Riffly Flash Player. This API is intended for developers.
How much does it cost?
The Riffly API is totally free for unlimited use. By default it is ad-supported and ads are displayed during playback. For users who get a premium account advertising is removed (up to the limit of the chosen plan) as well as additional features.
